Two kinds of stories

• What If episodes. One impossible change, followed all the way through. The real science and the sources are in every description, and on every episode page here.
• Story Shorts. The everyday tricks that fool you, from placebo buttons to fake engine sounds.

Mardenford

Every episode happens in the same invented American city, Mardenford, with the same family and the same streets. The premise changes every week; the city keeps growing. Take a walk around it.

How we make them

We write and fact-check every story ourselves, then build and animate it in Blender with our own 3D characters. The narrator voice and the music are AI-generated, and so is most of our thumbnail art. AI tools also help us with scripts and code.
